Description

This clutch solves the problem of the clutch bell being too small in connection with performance-enhanced TDI engines. This reinforced clutch is ideal, especially for Syncro drivers with original EFH/DRH transmissions. But normal 2WD TDI transmissions (02G transmissions except 111kw TDI) can also be equipped with this reinforced clutch.


The transferable torque is +15% compared to the (Sachs) series clutch!!

Technical details.

In the clutch set offered, the standard disc is provided with an organic performance coating. This has a higher coefficient of friction, very good fading properties and low wear.

These properties are met by a fiberglass-reinforced, layered clutch lining construction with copper reinforcement. The binder system made of elastomers and resin has been provided with a filler combination with coefficient of friction modifiers aimed at improving comfort and reducing fading.


High transmission power.

Compared to the series, the reinforced clutch is characterized by, among other things, a higher transferable torque. Ideal for lightly tuned vehicles (e.g. chip tuning), towing a trailer, and frequent drivers. The starting behavior (grinding point) is similar to the standard clutch, meaning that your vehicle's suitability for everyday use is fully maintained.

Assembly.

You will receive a new, revised clutch kit* including a release bearing. It is not necessary to return the old parts. Easy to replace with your old clutch, the original flywheel is still used.

However, you can also purchase a new flywheel in our shop.

 


*vs. Sachs series part, this clutch is reinforced, especially when it comes to the friction linings. However, the clutch is based on the OEM clutch from Sachs.
